    X-Ray Sales Engineer - Utah

    Job Summary:

    Effectively build relationships with new customers and strengthen the relationships with existing customers. To be the front-line contact and information pipeline between the customer and COMPANY.


    To ensure the customers' and Company's needs are met, the technical sales engineer liaises regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as research, development, design, purchasing, production, and quality, as well as senior company managers.

    Lead S&M efforts in introducing new products to the existing markets.

    Essential Functions:


    • Search for new customers and maximize sales potential in designated regions and product markets.
    • Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers.
    • Technical assistance for customers that aligns a product best satisfied to suit their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
    • Negotiating tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs.
    • Offering after-sales support services.
    • Coordinate activities with Marketing, Sales and Operations on a regular basis.
    • Participate in trade shows to support territory and company sales efforts.
    • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
    • Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
    Education and Experience:


    • BS or BA in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
    • 2+ years Sales and/or Account management required.
    • X-ray technical experience preferred
    Competencies:


    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.


    • Ability to build and maintaining strong relationships with customers and company staff.
    • Able to operate autonomously while on travel or when supervisor is on travel.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Strong presentation skills to all audience sizes and types are required.
    • Must be able to travel internationally.
    • Work well within the company in inter-department meetings and cooperative efforts.
