    The Project Coordinator will oversee assisting our Project Team in organizing our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

    The Project Coordinator will be responsible for creating Work Breakdown Structures, drafting Scope of Work documents, Level of Effort estimates and preparing project summary reports for customers and GFI leadership. We are seeking great attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with our growing base of customers.

    This position will be based out of our Champaign, IL office but will require occasional work to be performed at GFI Digitals other locations. Some travel may be required. We offer competitive salaries and bonus programs.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
    • Scheduling stakeholder meetings & facilitating communication throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Monitoring requests received through the IT Helpdesk for onsite support.
    • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
    • Coordinating engineer schedules, equipment installations, deployments, and maintenance activities.
    • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
    • Providing administrative support as needed.
    • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
    • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
    • Acts as a point of contact and communicates project status to all participants.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • Ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with ConnectWise is a plus
    • Experience within a Managed Services provider or internal corporate IT dept. is a plus
    • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Applications/Suites
