The Optical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, processing insurance information, and assisting with administrative tasks in a busy optometry office.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role
• Familiarity with medical or optical terminology preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Schedule appointments and confirm appointments with patients
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
• Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and ordering office supplies

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
• Prior experience working in an optometry or medical office is a plus
