Overview:
Candidate should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and possess exceptional organizational skills.
The candidate should be able to flourish in a production goal-oriented, multi-task environment with attention to detail and willingness to accept new and diverse assignments.
The candidate must have a general understanding of Retail replenishment fulfillment processes. The ability to anticipate and solve problems is key. The selected individual must be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Lead all activities for designated area on a daily basis
Provide Peer Leadership for all associates
Priorities
Safety
Support associates through daily tasks
Maintain SLAs for designated area
Act as a subject matter expert in designated area
Train employees in designated area
Maintain efficient and orderly usage of areas
Promote/Develop/Sustain an efficient workflow within the department
Create a positive work environment and develop ownership in department with a high level of diplomacy, professionalism, and integrity
Ensure productivity goals are met
Oversee the quality of production activities
Audit department processes to ensure all team members are adhering to processes/SOPs
Perform job duties of associates
Interact with management and cross-functional employees to resolved issues affecting operations
Ensure area is adequately supplied to complete daily tasks
Must be able to work overtime as required
All other job duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
High school degree or GED required
Team building and leadership skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Dependable, work with a sense of urgency
Excellent organizational and efficiency skills
Work well under pressure and time constraints
Leadership:
Proven ability to communicate with, support, and motivate employees to achieve operational objectives
Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a team environment
Analytical, ability to track, record and report department production
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
Able to work with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
Stand / walk for an extended time period
Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 pounds
Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
