Job summary
The Special Education Teacher provides a curricula required by the State of West Virginia and teaches students with varying levels of ability in the subject matter to be taught.
The teacher creates a stimulating and motivating environment for children and follows established school discipline procedures which include the WV Student Code of Conduct.
The Special Education Teacher has materials ready at the start of each instructional activity and presents reading writing speaking and listening strategies using concepts that students understand.
