    Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor to join their team in Long Beach. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Machining, you will be instrumental in the development of systems for artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

    As the Machine Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency, quality, and safety of our machine shop operations.

    • Proven leadership skills with experience in team management
    • Prior supervisory experience in a machine shop or manufacturing setting
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
    • Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance
    • Ability to analyze data and drive process enhancements
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Familiarity with machining processes, CNC equipment, and tooling

    Additional Requirements:

    • Availability for evening and weekend shifts to support critical missions
    • Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs without assistance
