• Educates patient about his/her prescriptions.
• Advises patients of alternatives (generics) for cost effectiveness.
• Verifies insurance information.
• Balances cash drawer.
• Maintains quality control and adherence to all regulation requirements, licensing and dispensing laws.
• Oversees the security of the pharmacy and its inventory.

• Assist customers at the cash register.
• Stock over the counter medications or goods.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Adheres to, and ensures department's compliance with, the clinic's policies and procedures.
• Maintains awareness of the department's budget at all times and works within the budgetary figures.
• Interprets and reviews financials and offers explanation when expenses or liabilities are excessive.
• Establishes departmental goals and completes goals within established time frame.
• Effectively recruits, retains, disciplines and trains staff.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
