    Master Auto Technician/Mechanic - Immediate Openings

    Join our team at Shifflet Auto Care/Tom and Jerry Auto Service, now with two convenient locations on the westside in Westgate area and the west OSU campus Grandview area. We are a long-standing family-owned and operated auto repair business with a solid reputation for honesty and quality since 1959. Our well-equipped general repair shops provide a busy and upbeat environment where we take pride in ensuring cars are fixed correctly for safety and reliability. We are currently seeking three honest, self-motivated technicians to join us.

    Position:

    Automotive Technician/Mechanic (Full-Time) with a signing bonus.

    Qualifications:
    • Must have the ability to diagnose and repair electrical and drivability issues.
    • Able to work independently and in a team setting.
    • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
    • Valid driver's license required.
    • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 80 pounds.
    • Meet production goals for technical expertise, proficiency, and efficiency.
    Job Description:
    • Professionally inspect, diagnose, and repair maintenance services using digital practices to ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
    • Perform work efficiently and accurately in line with dealership and factory standards.
    • Work on a variety of tasks including lube and oil filters, transmission service, alignment, computer systems diagnosis, electrical issues, brake systems, steering, suspension, and more.
    • Explain technical diagnoses and repairs in a clear manner to non-mechanical individuals.
    • Continuously learn new technological information and repair techniques to stay updated.
    • Adapt to changing technologies and repair methods in the automotive industry.
    • Assist in training and shadowing processes.
    • ASE Certifications needed - new or reinstated.
    • Position includes hourly base pay along with bonuses for production and quality.
