What You'll Do:

Work with the digital infrastructure deployment team to design fiber-optic routes, identify issues, and develop an execution plan.
Produce maps/drawings, as well as support with setting up map viewers and data collection applications/dashboards (mapping tools may include: 3GIS, QGIS, AGOL/ArcGIS Enterprise/apps).
Write product or system development code.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions
Take responsibility for the spatial data review process and the application of quality standards.
Actively support developing digital tools applied to environmental and engineering services.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, GIS/Geospatial services, Geography, or a related technical field with emphasis on Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
Must be able to learn and then navigate multiple sources of data (Google Maps, CAD, system maps).
Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
You should be innovative and creative with strong interpersonal communication skills and be comfortable working independently as well as in an interdisciplinary, multi-cultural team.
