Full Description VitalCheck Wellness, on behalf of Photon Medical Group, is seeking a culturally sensitive and compassionate Case Worker to join our team.

Patient care will be provided in-person and virtually at one of NYC Health + Hospitals' Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Centers (HERRCs) making a difference in the lives of migrants.

Responsibilities Supports the needs of operations to include organizing, assisting, preparing for meetings, filing, data entry & management, reporting and communicating with other staff.

Maintains records and ensures and follows compliance with Government customer policies and procedures, state, and Federal regulations.

A with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organizationPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Performs duties in a safe manner and follows the corporate safety policy.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Maintaining guest confidentiality. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent1 year of office experience.

Experience in community-based services, social services, immigrant advocacy, community organizing, and/or humanitarian relief, supporting and advocating for immigrants and asylum seekers is a plus.

Must have the ability to resolve unforeseen problems with little or no direction from manager.

Excellent presentation skills as well as oral and written communication skillsMust be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of diverse patient populations. Experience in community-based services, shelters, immigrants; volunteer or mission experience with disaster relief, refugee, humanitarian relief, preferred. Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of diverse patient populations. Bilingual in Spanish a Plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records systems. Must be able to commute to New York City and Boroughs.
