Responsibilities
- Ownday-to-day accounting operations and month-end closePreparation of accurate,GAAP-compliant financial statementsGeneral ledger management,reconciliations,and journal entriesPayroll processing and oversightAdministration of HR and benefits-related processes(insurance,retirement plans,onboarding support,vendor coordination)Support for compliance and operational needs typical of a growing companyDirect partnership with leadership as the business scalesSystems Process Problem SolvingIdentify inefficiencies across accounting,payroll,and administrative workflowsEvaluate(document,and redesign processes to support growthWork confidently in modern cloud-based accounting,payroll,and HR systemsLeverage accounting software reporting tools,and automation to reduce manualworkTroubleshoot issuesand implement practical scalable solutionsHelp implement optimize new systems as we grow
