    Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector (NGSP) is seeking a Staff Supply Chain Business Operations/Compliance Specialist (Level 5) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is on the Sector Global Supply Chain Compliance team and is FT remote .

    Candidate must have experience in United States Government Global Supply Chain. Prior hands-on experience as a Buyer of supplies under US Government programs is mandatory.

    Responsibilities:
    • Performance of Pre-Award Reviews of cross section of files over the Simplified Acquisition Threshold
    • Performs Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) data collection in accordance with a common format across all ERP systems
    • Leads, guides and supports Division, Business Unit (BU) or local resources on compliance review matters with a consistent systemic approach to "compliance"
    • Performs and supports additional procurement post award spot audits
    • Assists with identifying need for conflicts with lower level policies and procedures (rOP) (Division or BU)
    • Assists in identifying/supporting supplemental training needed at Divisions/Business Areas
    • Provides subject matter expertise in all aspects of Global Supply Chain (GSC) Compliance
    • Supports CPSR Audits
    • Responsible for providing GSC process and compliance requirements guidance to junior team members
    • Extensive knowledge with ERP systems, specifically SAP and Costpoint
    • Support and represent the Space Sector in cross-sector initiatives related to GSC Compliance such as digital transformation and the automation of GSC documentation
    • Successful candidate must remain up to date in FAR/DFARS regulations, Terms and Conditions, sector procedures, develop in-house programs and practices to identify development needs, including preparing personnel for positions of increasing responsibility and increasing personnel effectiveness in present assignments
    • Collaboration with other members of the NGSP GSC Compliance team is a must
    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years combined experience or a minimum of 13 years combined experience with a Master's Degree or at least 19 years of experience in direct-US Government Compliance/Subcontracting/Purchasing in lieu of a degree
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience with Procurement/Subcontract s under US Government contract(s)
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience with government regulations FAR and DFARS
    • Must possess good oral and written communication skills
    • Must possess good systems and sharepoint experience
    • Proficient in the use of the Teams Application
    • Ability to represent Space Sector in a team environment
    • Ability to multitask within a dynamic environment is critical
    • Significant understanding of US Government contracting
    • Experience in Procurement/Subcontract package audits
    • Familiarity with Government Contractor Purchasing Systems Reviews
    • Experience in developing and delivering training that ensures compliance
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP/Costpoint
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance as needed for the business
    • Working experience with Microsoft Products (Specifically Excel and Word)
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience managing high dollar POs/Subcontracts (i.e. $50M or greater)
    • Significant experience conducting oral presentations to senior leadership
    • Previous Team Lead or Management experience
    • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
    • Experience with all public law requirements, Terms and Conditions, Contract Instruction and Program Addenda
    • Experience in company operating element policies and procedures
    • Experience in Contractor Purchasing Analysis and Compliance Evaluation (PACE) process or equivalent
    • Previous experience developing and reporting metrics
    • Knowledge of cost accounting standards, generally accepted accounting principles, and accounting/proposal auditing techniques
    • Previous experience supporting cross functional teams
    Salary Range: $123,900 - $185,900

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
