- Plan, organize and implement the referral intake/inquiry process for SSRH.
- Collects information from incoming patients regarding services needed, insurance available, or financial status.
- Assist in planning for discharge and aftercare for patients, when requested.
- Maintain contact with referring agencies and community resources to establish and maintain referral sources.
- May assist in completion of admissions or insurance forms.
- Contacts insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain authorization for service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, social services or related field and/or graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in the field or related area; 3 years of behavioral health experience preferred
- Current American Hearth Association BLS or receipt within 90 days from hire date
