Responsibilities
- Conduct outside sales activities by visiting potential and existing clients within assigned territories to promote products and services.
- Develop new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, cold calling, and networking efforts.
- Manage key accounts by maintaining ongoing communication, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Deliver compelling product demos and presentations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer data, and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement strategies that increase brand awareness and market share across B2B (business-to-business) channels.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a focus on technology or product solutions.
- Strong management capabilities with the ability to lead client relationships and coordinate multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer service-oriented mindset to foster long-term partnerships.
- Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce for lead tracking, pipeline management, and data analysis.
- Effective communication skills for conducting product demos, inside sales calls, and presenting to diverse audiences.
- Ability to perform market analysis to identify new opportunities for business development and upselling initiatives.
- Knowledge of retail sales environments, technical sales processes, and marketing strategies is a plus.
