    Description
    Main Purpose of the Role: The co-lead teacher is responsible for planning instructional lessons and curriculum, as well as teaching, and assessing students in the core subject areas at the lower elementary level. Key Responsibilities:
    • Overtly support and act in accordance with the school's mission and values.
    • Work collaboratively with co-lead teacher to plan, teach, and assess.
    • Demonstrate appropriate planning and preparation for instruction.
    • Develop and maintain a classroom atmosphere centered on intellectual inquiry and student engagement.
    • Foster classroom community through inclusionary, compassionate, and supportive practices.
    • Uphold professional standards of personal presentation, punctuality, professional courtesy, and discretion.
    • Appropriately carry out specific responsibilities as designated by the division (e.g., duties).
    • Honor the confidentiality of school and student information.
    • Communicate effectively with co-lead, students, families, and colleagues.
    • Engage in self-reflection and professional development through goal setting, professional development opportunities, and ongoing dialog with division directors.
    • Attendance on field trips.
    • Support admissions' work through tours and visitors.

    Required Preferred Qualification Advanced degree in education or
    applicable field; Master of Teaching Experience 3-5 years of experience teaching
    • Experience with phonics instruction, differentiated learning, backwards planning and creating performance assessments.
    • Experience with Wilson Fundations, Bridges Math program, and Reader's & Writer's Workshop.
    • Responsive Classroom Training.
    • Google Suite for Education.
