    The Bartender: A Master of Multitasking

    A Bartender is a hybrid professional, combining the skills of a chef and a server to deliver an exceptional dining experience. To excel in this role, one must possess agility under pressure, excellent interpersonal skills, and a keen sense of urgency.

    The ideal candidate will be able to engage with guests, explain our menus, and anticipate their needs. They must also maintain attention to detail, handle cash accurately, work efficiently on the point-of-sale system, and adhere to safety and health code guidelines.

    We seek a skilled professional who can provide exceptional service, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and effectively communicate with colleagues and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving guests at the bar, supporting the F&B team, and maintaining stock levels.

    • Serve all guests at the bar, providing a comprehensive dining experience while supporting the F&B team with timely service of bar orders.
    • Maintain quality of ingredients and recipes, ensuring continuity of service throughout the shift.
    • Assist in serving food & beverage orders tableside.
    • Ensure security of product, providing orders only as ordered through the POS.
    • Effectively communicate with the Barback/ Busser on all needs to facilitate service.
    • Handle security of cash and credit transactions, providing accurate documentation at the end of each shift.
    • Maintain a clean work environment, including all equipment, service, and storage areas.
    • Maintain all health and alcohol service standards, alerting management to any concerns with guests.
    • Follow all guidelines in the Employee Handbook, including hospitality expectations, grooming standards, and attendance expectations.
    • Proactively communicate with support crew and management, alerting to problems and helping with solutions.

    Requirements:

    To be considered for this role, you should have:

    • Prior experience in guest relations.
    • Excellent communication skills, including reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
    • Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
    • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.

    You must be available to work weekends and holidays and have valid certifications in TIPS and CA Food Handling.
