Alliance Homecare is looking for a Certified Home Health Aide to work with a client in Montvale, NJ

$24 an hour

• Client: Male, 30 years old
• Location: Montvale, NJ
• Schedule: Friday 10pm-10am
  • May be additional opportunities for Mondays 4pm-10pm
  • Caregiver must drive or get dropped off

Client Details:

• Client is a quadriplegic. He is total care and uses a hoyer lift for transfers.
• He is up very frequently overnight and requires transfers multiple times per night. Caregiver MUST be comfortable with hoyer.
• Client is mentally aware of what is going on, but physically cannot do anything for himself. Caregiver must be extremely patient and understanding.

Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care:

• Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, accompanying to appointments, and errands
• Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
• Observe and report all changes to RN
• Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
• Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice

HHA Job Requirements:

• Must have an active New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
• Must have at least 1 year of HHA experience
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Fluency in English
