    Healthcare Data Analyst II (Senior)

    Job Description

    Eagle Health is seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Analyst II to support a federal government customer. Typical duties include:

    • Use statistical and database tools to gather and analyze healthcare data.
    • Provide analytics and data management support to Government client.
    • Present or report findings and analytical results to non-technical audience and/or Government representatives.
    • Utilize statistical modeling to assist with sampling activities and identifying and measuring payment errors.
    • Define requirements for databases and other analytical tools/methods to assist with data management and analysis.
    • Under Government and Program Office oversight, coordinate troubleshooting systems/data activities and change requests with external application support.
    The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $90, $100,000.00

    The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.     Salary Grade

    Job Requirements
    • BA degree in biostatistics or related field and 10 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Healthcare claims data experience (ICD codes, CPT codes, payment methodologies).
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills
    • Thorough attention to detail
    • Commitment to accurate data findings
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects with varying degrees of prioritization
    • Strong individual initiative to research existing resources and ability to work independently
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments resulting in creative solutions to unique requests
    • Strong knowledge of SAS programming, SPSS Modeler and SQL queries
    • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
    • Ability to analyze high volume of data using SAS, SPSS, or other Government software provide.
    • Ability to work with programmers and application support for system troubleshooting and to ensure projects stay on schedule, minimizing downtime and accomplishing scheduled tasks.
