- Completes preventive maintenance by inspecting, servicing, and correcting discrepancies in accordance with maintenance policies, directives, and advisories.
- Performs road tests on vehicles and equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, and to ensure proper repairs were completed.
- Accurately record time, details, and parts of repairs.
- Performs work as directed by the lead or manager.
- Adheres to all safety procedures - OSHA, Company, and Customer standards.
- Meets schedule and attendance requirements; performs all physical requirements of the position.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with managers, coworkers, and user departments.
- Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to a minimum of two years of experience performing functions such as inspection, repair, modification, or troubleshooting equipment.
- ASE certification preferred; must obtain a minimum of one certification within the first year employment.
- Must provide own tools and rollaway box.
- Graduation from an accredited technical school, apprentice program, or verified military schooling program teaching the mechanic trade.
- Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position.
- Basic computer skills required; Knowledge of fleet management systems preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complete operational checks.
- Strong technical knowledge, excellent people skills, and focus on superior customer service.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for a working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings, as per contract requirement.
- Hourly rate, not flat rate.
- Incentive for each current ASE

- Two shifts: 6:00 am- 3:00 pm; 3:00 pm - Midnight.
