    Position Description:

    ***Multiple Positions Available***

    Creates software application components according to Agile software development methodologies using React, JavaScript, Node, CSS, and HTML Browser Developer tools. Builds and develops software applications. Designs and builds large scale applications and deploys them onto Amazon Web Services (AWS). Implements the deployment of system features and monitors for successful integration using Cloud Platforms -- Azure. Coordinates project deliverables using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline practices. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
  • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
  • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
  • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
  • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
  • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

    • Education and Experience:

    Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing multi-tier internet facing Web applications according to Agile software development methodologies.

    Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing multi-tier internet facing Web applications according to Agile software development methodologies.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    Candidate must also possess:

    • Demonstrated Expertise (\u201CDE\u201D) designing and developing front-end Web applications (cross-browser compatible and responsive) using ReactJS, Html 5, Css3, and JavaScript; and developing User Interface (UI) Rich Web applications for products according to business requirements using Visual Studio Code.
    • DE designing, developing, and maintaining multi-tier internet facing Web applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment using TypeScript; and performing unit and functional testing using Jest.
    • DE performing priority production incident analysis, review, and resolution for software installation and monitoring functionalities to ensure specifications are met, using Splunk and Service Now.
    • DE delivering, measuring, and iterating features to customers while minimizing risk factors, using A/B tests, blue-green deployments, feature toggles, DevOps CI/CD practices, Test Driven Development (TDD), automated security and quality testing, and modern test and mock frameworks.
