    Senior Accountant

    to join their dynamic team

    Position responsibilities:
    Work as part of a team to provide outsourced accounting services for nonprofit clients.
    Establish and foster positive relationships with clients.
    Ensure timely communication as to project status both internally and externally.
    Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, GAAP based financial statement packages and supporting analytical worksheets.
    Process transactions which may include accounts payable, cash disbursements and receipts, customer invoicing, and payroll processing.
    Become technically proficient in several cloud-based accounting software systems.
    Access and utilize online systems including; accounts payable systems, banking systems, vendor systems, contribution/donation systems.
    Prepare and review monthly close entries including payroll, fringe, prepaid and liability accruals.
    Work independently in a highly flexible, remote model utilizing MS Teams.
    Support clients with audit and tax schedules and coordination.


    Qualifications:
    4 year Bachelor's Degree in Accounting OR combination of non-accounting degree and experience.3-5 years of experience.
    Experience with QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct preferred.
    Superior time management and organization skills.
    Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
    Experience with nonprofit accounting preferred.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Desire to provide top quality customer service.
    Previous experience in a client facing accounting or audit role preferred.
