- Responsible for conducting patient assessments and ensuring completion of referrals to applicable parties, high-risk screenings, and crisis interventions.

Reviews patient records for medical necessity, level of care, length of stay, and authorization denials for inpatients and observation patients.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate care according to evidence-based, approved guidelines. Develops and facilitates care plans throughout patient hospitalization and episode of care.
- Provide services which support optimal transitions of care. Assists in the clinical appeal process.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)preferred.
- Licensed RN in the state of Ohio
- BLS certifiedthrough the American Heart Association
- 1-year previous experience in UR and Case Management.
- 2 years of acute care nursingexperience required.
- Experience utilizing InterQual and MCG preferred.
