    Position Overview:
    USGP is seeking a skilledInterventional Radiologic Technologistto join our team at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This is a full-time opportunity to support active duty service members in a dynamic and mission-driven healthcare environment.

    Hourly Rate:
    $58.71/hour +Health and Welfare Stipend

    Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    On-Call Pay:
    $12.00/hour - (rotating schedule)


    Call-Back Pay:
    Time and a half

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education:
    Graduate of anInterventional Radiology Technologistprogram accredited by theJoint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)

    Certification:
    CurrentCertificate in Vascular-Interventional Radiology (VI)


    Additional Certifications:
    ValidBLS(American Heart Association preferred)


    Experience:
    Minimum of2 years of post-graduate experiencein interventional radiology

    Immunization Requirements60;(Must be current or able to obtain):
    Hepatitis B (series and titer)
    Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
    MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
    Varicella (Chickenpox)
    TB (Tuberculosis) test
    Seasonal Influenza (flu) vaccine
    COVID-19 vaccine (if applicable)

    Primary Responsibilities Include:
    Operate and maintain interventional radiology equipment and ensure proper use in collaboration with radiologists and medical staff.
    Prepare patients for procedures and educate them and their families on pre- and post-care expectations.
    Perform a range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and safety protocols.
    Ensure age-appropriate care is provided, adjusting communication and procedural support as needed for pediatric through geriatric patients.
    Maintain accurate records and assist with quality assurance initiatives and patient safety standards.
