    Position: Human Resources Business Partner

    Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland

    Salary: $70k $90k

    Fast Growing Consumer Goods Organization seeks a Bilingual Human Resource Business Partner to lead their Team

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments and terminations.
    • Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
    • Manage annual open enrollment period for each year. Arrange for distribution of plan summary materials and required notices, assist with communicating changes to employees and arrange for onsite representation by providers.
    • Resolve employee complaints related to health, and benefit plans.
    • Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
    • Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
    • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs
    • Recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures;
    • Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
    • Manages 401k functions via designated portal.
    • Update and maintain employee information in time clock system. Enter schedule changes in time management system as they rise.
    • Biweekly activities include the following: inputting weekly hours, voiding checks/ manual check as required. Ensuring that all employees are classified in their proper departments.
    • Monthly activities include the following: completion of payroll journal, Department Summaries, Bank Reconciliation.
    • Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.)
    • Recruiting depending on company needs
    • Conduct new-employee orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefits plans and policies.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelors Degree
    • 3+ years HR experience
