    1 charge RN, 8 Registered Nurses per shift


    Patient Ratio:

    12-hour night shifts (7P-7A)

    Assignment Length:
    13 weeks (Start: 11/4/2025, End: 2/3/2026)


    Dress Code:
    Royal Blue Scrubs


    Floating:
    May float to all
    ICUs, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floors


    Weekend Requirement:
    Minimum 4 weekends per schedule period

    Registered Nurse Qualifications

    Active RN license (Texas or compact state)

    ACLS certification required

    At least 1 year of recent
    ICU nursing experience

    Proficiency with standard
    ICU equipment

    Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

    Oncology and Neuro
    ICU experience preferred

    Strong teamwork, accountability, and compassionate care skills

    ICU Nurse Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality critical care nursing to patients in a 16-bed
    ICU
    Monitor and manage patient conditions with a
    2:1
    patient-to-nurse ratio

    Assist with procedures:
    central line and arterial line placement, intubation, and EVD care (core staff will care for EVD patients)

    Document patient care using Meditech EMR system

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

    Float to other
    ICU, BMT, and PCU units as needed

    Ensure compliance with unit guidelines and hospital policies
