    Job Description:

    The Assistant Property Manager coordinates with the Property Manager and General Manager to direct and supervise the activities of building staff and vendors in accordance with policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities:

  • Participate in preparation of financial and management reports, monitors collections & coordinates default proceedings
  • Assist in monitoring operating expenses and capital budgets, prepares & administers operating expense recoveries and adjustments to actual, due diligence, etc.
  • Effectively manage relationships with internal and external team members
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations as required
  • Participate with maintenance staff to develop 5-year capital plan
  • Participate in the Customer Service Tenant Satisfaction survey process
  • Track progress of goals, objectives, timelines and budgets; and generate reports on status
  • Oversee facility operations including maintenance programs, vendor contracts, building inspections, construction/TI administration, emergency response & preparedness and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with Property Manager/General Manager on lease administration functions
  • Oversee Housekeeping/Janitorial efforts
  • Perform all administrative & operational duties as required

    Required Qualifications:
  • One to three years of hands-on real estate management experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with accounting principles & practices, preferably in real estate
  • Demonstrated proficient knowledge of MS Office applications (Word & Excel a must) and accounting software
  • Strong communication and customer service skills (oral & written)
  • Ability to exercise prudent judgment in the absence of supervisory personnel
  • Attention to detail and strong aptitude for mathematics
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion, ability to multi-task

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with medical office buildings
  • Bachelors Degree
