- Handle a high volume of inbound calls with inquiries, complaints, or issues in a efficient and accurate manner.
- Ensure a positive experience for each caller.
- Respond professionally to all calls from claimants or medical providers, resolving issues promptly.
- Efficiently gather customer information, assess needs, and provide accurate responses.
- Create tickets for further handling of identified issues.
- Document all calls and follow-up actions.
- Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making.
- Meet or exceed call center metrics while offering excellent customer service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in a healthcare call center setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and billing forms.
