- Communicate effectively with customers and prospects via phone, e-mail, or in-person
- Handle all incoming sales inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Build strong rapport with customers
- Maintain an ongoing customer database and follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
- Assist customers in appropriate vehicle selection and stay abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc.
- Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking test drives; comparing competitive models, and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase
- Learn to overcome objections, negotiate price, close sales, and perform all steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards
- Prospect daily for potential customers
- Attend product and sales training as requested by the Sales Manager
- Demonstrates unmatched customer service and is devoted to guaranteeing customer satisfaction
- Maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score
- Ability to effectively manage time to meet and exceed targets
- Previous customer service experience is required, dealership experience a plus
- Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating
- Possess superior customer-focused communication skills
- Must have a clean & valid driver's license, along with reliable transportation
