- Performing diagnostic evaluations and repairs on complex mechanical and electronic systems to ensure optimal performance and readiness
- Conducting routine and corrective maintenance operations following established technical manuals and schematics
- Preparing detailed maintenance records, test results, and corrective actions to support performance tracking and compliance requirements
- Collaborating with senior engineers to implement upgrades and system improvements while adhering to DoD standards
- Providing training and technical support to junior technicians during system integrations and operational testing

Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in an engineering technician role
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated ability to perform intermediate-level engineering tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and testing of mechanical and electronic systems in accordance with DoD specifications
- Proficient in using advanced diagnostic tools and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) to identify and resolve system malfunctions
- Skilled in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for system troubleshooting and repair
- Possess an active DoD secret security clearance
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks to assist in system modifications and upgrades
- Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement methodologies to enhance maintenance workflows
- Strong organizational skills to manage and document system data, maintenance schedules, and performance metrics
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support during system installations and upgrades
- Relevant military experience

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
