    Overview

    Clinic patients arrive needing support. You reassure them with a calm and friendly attitude that reflects the Legacy mission. Team members trust you to deliver excellent patient experiences, giving you opportunities to mentor others as you advance at Legacy.

    Main duties include scheduling, insurance verification, registration, co-pay balancing, and managing deposits. This role involves acting as a helpful resource for colleagues, independent problem-solving, and some coding and charge entry tasks.

    Responsibilities

    Individuals in this position handle diverse tasks, requiring prioritization and discretion. They manage activities like scheduling, insurance verification, registration, co-pay balancing, and deposit management. This role involves guiding colleagues, independent problem-solving, mentoring, and interacting regularly with physicians and staff, including some coding and charge entry.



    Qualifications

    Education:

    High School diploma or equivalent is a must.

    Experience:

    At least one year of healthcare experience or relevant education in areas such as Admitting, Medical Records/Health Information, or related clerical support is preferred. Knowledge of Medical Terminology is a plus.

    Skills:
    Good communication and keyboard skills are essential, along with proficiency in relevant electronic systems.
