- Oversee installation and perform field startup, programing, calibration and troubleshooting for various flow meters and water quality monitoring equipment.
- Participating in setting up equipment for Sample and Flow Studies.
- Be able to learn to interpret data and provide reports for customers.
- Consult with customers to setup water quality monitoring stations, equipment and maintenance programs.
- Must be reliable with regular attendance.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with factory support personnel.
- Work cooperatively with employees and customers.
- Move objects between 20-50 pounds, such as flow meters, short distances (20 feet or less).
- Work a flexible schedule as projects require as well as work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Work safely around sewage.
- This position requires the use of a Company Vehicle. Individuals must be physically capable of operating vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Our territory covers the entire State of Arizona.
- Must be willing to travel for factory training as required.

Job DescriptionWestern Environmental Equipment Co is a Manufacturer's Rep firm located in Scottsdale, AZ that specializes in sale of instrumentation and controls for the Municipal and Industrial Wastewater Markets. WEECI sells, provides start-up, support and troubleshooting for all the equipment we sell. In addition, we are a Flow Service and Sampling Provider, as well as we work with various municipalities to provide third party inspections, calibrations, and instrumentation support.
We are looking for an Instrumentation and Control Specialist. We would prefer someone with instrumentation experience but will also consider applicants that are willing to be trained.
