Simplot Company is a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture, including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertilizer manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development, and distribution.

Summary This position exists to ensure efficient movement of supplies to and from the Packaging Materials Storage Area. This includes operation, sanitation and quality control of the area and any related supplies.

Key Responsibilities Monitors the movement of supplies, both incoming to the Packaging Materials Storage Area and outgoing to the production facility, through the use of a computer or handheld device.

Responsible for staging of fiber and other packaging goods. Ensures incoming supplies are delivered accurately and verifies that quantities delivered match quantities on the Bill of Lading. Accurately labels inventory with bar codes and verifies lot codes. Conducts cycle counts, reconciles inventory and audits data. Empties trash cans, bins and boxes in Receiving /USDA on a daily basis. Operates a forklift and conducts daily inspections of forklift equipment. Utilizes computer and computer programs to communicate, document, track shift information and create spreadsheets. Ensures that all documents and reports are completed accurately in a timely and efficient manner. Ensures self-compliance with Company policies and plant procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. May assist with training other plant personnel. Maintains Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs. o Works within safety rules and regulations in actively avoiding injury to self and others. o Ensures proper food safety sanitation and cleaning procedures of all processing equipment and tools.

Maintains necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style conducive with operational goals.

Ensures that additional accountabilities required by management are handled in a manner necessary to meet operational standards. Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Relevant Experience 1+ years related experience and/or training Other Information Pay:
$25.18/Hr Night shift Ability to safely operate a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and high stacking totes
