    The Admissions Supervisor is responsible for the operation and cleanliness of all admission operations.

    Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour

    Major Duties/Specific Tasks
    • Supervises operation which may include opening and closing of facility, ordering and maintaining supplies, care and use of resources, and handling cash.
    • Supervises work of other seasonal employees (admissions attendants, party planner) which may include scheduling, training, motivation and control.
    • Ensures proper inventory of resale merchandise.
    • Assists with inventory controls.
    • Ensures cleanliness of entryway, lobby, restrooms, and birthday party areas (inside & out).
    • Ensures NOVA Parks safety, business standards, and other standards inherent to the particular operation are being followed.
    • Assists with public relations by greeting waterpark visitors, handling inquiries, and providing information and assistance, and informing patrons of rules and regulations.
    • Prepare and oversee special functions.
    • Prepare and maintain appropriate records.
    • Perform tasks of Admissions Attendants.
    • Perform manual labor and routine maintenance as directed.
    • Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service training.
    • Reports unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
    • Carries out additional duties as assigned by the Park Specialist, Pool Manager or Supervisor on Duty.
    Minimum Qualification
    • High school diploma and two years of progressively responsible experience as an Attendant or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
    • Working knowledge of and experience in the customer service industry and operation of facility.
    • Knowledge and experience in the operation of a retail merchandise facility.
    • Working knowledge of Park Authority standards and ability to adhere to standards.
    • Demonstrated supervisory skills.
    • Ability to deal effectively with the public.
    • Ability to be flexible in meeting a variety of demands and conditions.
    • Ability to operate a cash register.
    • Working knowledge of computers.
    • Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
    • Ability to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks.
    • Availability to work a variable work schedule, which may include early and late hours, and weekends and holidays.
    • Possession of or ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications.
    • Required to purchase and wear standard uniform.
    • Specialized duties and assignments related to a facility may require special training and/or certifications.
