    JOB TITLE: Account Manager

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Account Manager's responsibilities include pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The Accounts Manager will be professional, ambitious, and have the desire to grow and work with a great team within a distinctive culture. Additionally, the Account Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that they meet and exceed customers' expectations consistently.

    In this critical role, the Account Manager will be trusted to use their experience and trade knowledge to meet clients to assess and determine their roofing needs, develop and propose solutions to their issues, and work closely with the estimating and production teams to meet the demands of the client.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Acts as the "face" of the company and leads communication and interaction with prospects and clients
    • Negotiates contracts, approves the scope of work, makes presentations and closes agreements to maximize profits on behalf of the Company.
    • Estimates the cost of minor repairs and other projects such as a roof-over, roof replacement, and new roofs for the firm's clients.
    • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, develops and negotiates contracts, and integrates contract requirements within the business.
    • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project timelines, project estimates, and status reports to manage assigned projects effectively. (DELETE, duties are under other roles)
    • Collaborate with the Business Development management team to drive service revenues and profitability for the Company.
    • Manages the gathering and organization of account-related information, providing input on key customer opportunities, service line extension proposals, and contract pricing.
    • Coordinates and identifies appropriate company contact information regarding billing, the owner(s), and project contacts.
    • Attends and participates in "hand-off" meetings with project and division managers as needed before the start of assignments.
    • Maintains versatility in helping Roofing Solutions with other needs as required to help grow and improve the business.
    • Assists the estimating and business development departments by providing accurate information for creating proposals and project completion for the company's clients.
    • Participates in creating effective and high-growth strategies for new customer acquisition.
    • Develops and uses advanced planning skills for establishing maximum productivity of workforce, materials, and equipment.
    • Coordinates and leads post-project client meetings, discussing project closures, follow-ups, maintenance plans, and warranty specifications when applicable.
    • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements within business operations.
    ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Works closely with the billing department to ensure billing accuracy.
    • Maintains knowledge of industry practices related to products and services, such as manufacturing, specifications, warranty information, and product application.
    • Maintains customer relationships by providing a great experience and presenting a professional image with current and potential clients.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned by Roofing Solutions.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    This position requires knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to:

    • At least five years as an account manager or equivalent with similar responsibilities in consultative selling. Previous experience in similar positions in the commercial roofing industry is a plus.
    • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
    • Ability to use the technology provided by the company (FCS/Jobba, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Teams, Zoom, One Drive, email, computer, mobile phones, etc.).
    • Must know basic construction techniques, equipment used in the commercial roofing industry, and overall general roofing systems.
    • Must have superior communication skills, both verbal and written, and a keen focus on customer service
    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Occasional travel outside of the sales territory may be required to meet and develop relationships with potential customers and clients on behalf of Roofing Solutions.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening and have a good driving record to operate vehicles.
    • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy environment, setting up ladders, and walking on elevated roofs and other surfaces above 12 feet.
    • Must be able to lift ladders, toolboxes, etc. (60 lbs) and feel comfortable working in heights in tasks such as inspecting a roof.

    Our compensation and benefits package includes a competitive salary, performance bonus, health insurance, and retirement program with up to 4% matched by the company, paid time off (personal, sick, and observed federal holidays), company truck, or in some cases a truck allowance and fuel card following the company policies, computer, cell phone, and all required office equipment needed for the position.     • Performs duties both in the field on rooftops and in an office environment
    • He/She may be subjected to multiple interruptions throughout the workday.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to drive, sit, stand, walk, use hands, and carry light or heavy materials and equipment as needed.
    • Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds or more if needed.
    • Visual acuity is necessary to operate the company's tools, computers, and other equipment needed for the job.
    Direct Hire

    Base salary: $65,000-$70,000
