DLP Staffing is currently accepting applications for the position of:

• POSITION TITLE: Forklift Operator.
• Location: Eagle Pass, TX.
• FLSA: Non-Exempt.
• Hire Pay: $10.50 to $11.00 an hour.
• Classification: Full-time.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Forklift Operator will use a forklift to transport different materials around the warehouse and to load and unload materials from a loading dock.
JOB SUMMARY:

• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to load and unload materials manually, off or on pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections to ensure working forklift equipment.
• Plans and coordinates with upper management regarding loading and unloading operations.
• Keep updated records of inventory.
• Comply with company guidelines and safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned such as carrying 50 lbs. bags on catwalks and platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

• Receives supervision from Supervisor.
• Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• This position's principal duties are in an indoor/outdoor environment.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:

• This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be available 7 days a week.
