    We're looking for an amazing Marketing Budget Analyst to fill this role. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, WA. You'll be responsible for supporting the budget management for the Holland America & Seabourn in-house media team, serving as a liaison with finance and marketing leadership. You'll understand and influence the accounting process, ensuring compliance and adherence to media planning and will implement document organization, including reporting and analyses of monthly media budgets and payments.     Responsibilities
    • Responsible for opening marketing Purchase Orders (POs) for Holland American Line and Seabourn teams (approx per month) and back-up support for North America marketing team (approx. 100 per month).
    • Receive, organize, process, and assign monthly invoices for HAL & SBN, ensuring timely payments against media POs in alignment with marketing budgets and accruals.
    • Reconciling YTD charges, future commitments, and planned activity with the annual budget with input from marketing leadership, updating the monthly in-house media team forecast (HAL & SBN).
    • Serve as in-house lead for budget management, focused on monitoring the monthly paid media budget in partnership with Marketing leadership team and Finance. Ensures costs are properly planned and accruals are set up and current. Assists paid media team leadership with ad-hoc reports and analyses related to A&P and other Marketing reporting. Documents and organizes inbound invoices, payments, and vendor correspondence. Professional communication with vendor AR teams as needed.
    • In partnership with Global Supplier Maintenance and North America Marketing teams, responsible for new supplier setup with proper documentation and payment terms.
    • Assist the in-house media team with the annual departmental budgets within the Advertising & Promotions (A&P) forecast. Prepares visualization needs for PowerPoint presentations.
    • Performs a variety of delegated research tasks and projects, documents findings, and prepares reports, graphs, charts and other illustrative materials as requested from departmental VP & Sr. Director, Integrated Marketing.

    • Additional duties as assigned.
    Requirements
    • 3-5+ years of experience in analytics, accounting, business strategy, finance, engineering or equivalent role.
    • Highly motivated, result-oriented and self-starter.
    • A conceptual thinker, and inquisitive problem solver. Must be able to work independently with strong problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
    • Excellent ability to prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines and strong organizational acumen.
    • Strong understanding of financial systems and financial data flows. Knowledge of accounting principles and budget practices.
    • Proficient in Microsoft office, spreadsheets/databases. Expert in Excel.
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
    • Comfortable speaking with senior leadership

    • Base Salary Range: $67,800.00-$91, The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
