Gridiron IT is seeking a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator/SOC Analyst to support a federal program in Washington, DC.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Management. The successful candidate must possess a minimum of BA/BS degree
Required Experience: 7 years experience in Network/Computer Systems Admin and/or SOC Analysis support.
Work Location: Washington DC
Required Clearance: Public Trust

Job Description / Responsibilities:
Provide SOC analysis support and cyber threat analysis on multiple operational networks. Monitor network for performance as well as cyber threats, to ensure network availability to all system users. Provide cyber incident response. Perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption. Document cyber incidents and collaborate with other cyber responders to share information and make recommendations. Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. May install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. May administer network security measures.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.
Required Skills:

Demonstrated knowledge of cyber security principles, methods, and procedures
Demonstrated experience performing SOC support, network administration, computer system administration, incident response, and cyber threat intelligence analysis
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in network and computer system administration, architectures, and security systems including guard, firewall, host and network Intrusion Detection/Protection Systems, logging systems, and identity and access management systems
Security documentation creation and maintenance
Effective communications skills
Must meet 8570 certification requirements IASAE Lvl II within 90 days of hire
