- Spearhead all aspects of pre-construction cost estimating from blueprints, including material quantity surveys, equipment pricing, constructability reviews, and value engineering.
- Become an expert on your projects, conducting site assessments, life-cycle costing, and scheduling to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Foster strong client relationships, representing the firm in meetings and collaborating effectively with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Guide and mentor junior estimators, fostering a collaborative and learning environment within the department.
- Contribute to the company's success, assisting with fee proposals, analyzing market trends, and adapting to changing economic landscapes.
- Extensive experience (15+ years) as a construction estimator in the non-residential, commercial sector.
- Aviation/Airport estimating experience
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects from conceptual design to bid documents.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in REVIT, OST, Excel, MS Office Suite, Planswift, and construction databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive and results-oriented attitude, with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" spirit.
- A valid Texas driver's license and the ability to travel occasionally.
- Salary range: $125,000 - $140,000K/yr. base salary (based on experience) + bonus
