    Physical Therapist (Neuro)- Columbus, GA

    Location- Columbus, GA

    Type- Full Time(Permanent)

    Shift: Days

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist specialized in Neurological Rehabilitation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to patients with neurological conditions, helping them regain mobility, improve function, and enhance their quality of life.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' neurological conditions, mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.
    • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs, goals, and medical history.
    • Therapeutic Interventions: Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions including exercise programs, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and other specialized techniques tailored to neurological conditions.
    • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about the nature of their condition, treatment options, and strategies for self-management and home exercises.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
    • Continuous Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in neurological rehabilitation to provide evidence-based care.
    Education, Licensure, and Experience:
    • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
    • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Physical Therapy.
    • Minimum of 1 years of experience in neurological rehabilitation preferred.
    • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
