    The Section of General Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, scholarly activities, and community engagement. As general internists, we apply scientific knowledge, clinical expertise, and compassion to prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients with a broad spectrum of medical conditions.

    Our Mission:

    We care for diverse patients in primary care outpatient settings as well as hospitalized patients through collaborative interdisciplinary teams practicing at Baylor Medicine Clinic, Baylor St. Luke's CHI Hospitals, Harris Health System, and Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

    About Our Department:

    The Margaret M. and Albert B. Alkek Department of Medicine is the largest adult practice department at Baylor College of Medicine. Founded in 1953, we are one of the largest education programs in the United States with more than 700 trainees and highly competitive specialty fellowship training programs.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Hospitalist to provide Per Diem services at CHI St. Luke's Hospitals in the Houston area. The ideal candidates are patient-centered and committed to excellence in providing quality care in an inpatient setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide direct inpatient care, work a 7 on 7 off block schedule, and commit to working shifts as needed. Compensation is based on current moonlighting rates, and malpractice insurance is provided.
