Rowe Price is seeking a Sr Software Engineer who has a passion, vision and technical acumen to help meet the needs of the Individual Investors Secure Digital Experience business.

You'll be hands-on coding through the entire development lifecycle as well as leading an Agile team of back-end and front-end developers.

We are transforming client experiences through cloud computing, lightweight Java microservices, single-page application front ends (React/Angular), and highly resilient software services.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of Java microservice development and strong AWS experience You will:

Design and develop solutions working with other internal groups such as architecture, dev ops and enterprise security to ensure alignment with enterprise technology direction and standards.

Contribute to code reviews and provide feedback

Business Knowledge

Experience working directly with business partners
Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions

Requirements

5+ years of progressive Java development
Experience with ReactJS or other JavaScript framework helpful
Experience mentoring and leading development teams
Expertise designing, developing, deploying, and supporting java-based solutions
Able to quickly learn new technologies and stay abreast of industry trends
Able to work with existing data models and schemas and suggest changes and improvements
Experience in AWS cloud technologies

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
