    Senior Manager

    Research Enterprise Project Management

    Full-Time

    Overview:

    The HSS Research Enterprise includes the Basic, Clinical and Applied Research Institutes and scientific programs under the leadership of the Chief Research Officer.

    The Senior Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral member of the HSS Research Enterprise. The Project Manager will report to the Chief Research Officer and support her efforts to create a new enterprise infrastructure and advance groundbreaking scientific research.

    Key Responsibilities in support of the Chief Research Officer;

    • Develop project plans that include clear scope, timeline, and resource allocation.
    • Manage projects by overseeing project timelines and dependencies across the assigned projects, and taking proactive steps to assess delays, develop mitigation strategies, and ensuring escalation to leadership as needed
    • Build and maintain a strong rapport with research leadership, clinicians, scientists, and researchers, to support the ongoing advancement of the Research Enterprises goals.
    • Develop change management and communication strategies to advance the Research Enterprises goals.
    • Develop written material that successfully brings to life the impactful research that is ongoing, as well as future research efforts, to be used in a wide variety of settings, including Board Meetings, in conversations with donors, and within HSS.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree required, with a minimum of 3 years work experience
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
    • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and strong critical thinking skills
    • Background in or familiarity with clinical research strongly preferred.
    • Consulting experience preferred
    • Excellent attention to detail, well-organized, and analytical.
    • Pleasant and amicable character, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to develop relationships with a keen sense of emotional intelligence.
    • Ability to model the basic values and principles of Hospital for Special Surgery.

    Pay Range - Minimum:
    USD $95,000.00/Yr.

    Pay Range - Maximum:
    USD $115,000.00/Yr.
