    Structural Engineer
    Richmond
    £35k-£48k

    Small, very well established and highly reputable firm of expert consulting structural engineers are expanding, seeking a structural engineer to join their team.

    You will need to have 3 years + of UK buildings design experience to be considered for this role, as well as the full right to work in the UK.

    The firm work offer an exceptionally varied and busy workload, from very small projects up to £3-4m in value. Project include bespoke residential buildings, historic buildings works, specialist structural challenges and commercial schemes.

    You will be involved in a mix of new build and refurbishment work, including looking at building defects of historic and listed buildings.

    They are also involved in party wall work so any experience/interest in this would be particularly useful.

    The role will be very varied including design, inspections, calcs, drawings and reports as well as potentially expert witness and party wall work.

    You will never be just stuck crunching numbers and will be out and about attending site most days
    The senior personnel at this practice are highly qualified, so they can give excellent training and mentorship.
    Excellent communication skills are essential, both written and verbal.

    The office space is in the beautiful town of Richmond, close to stunning green spaces, lots of eateries and shops, excellent transport links with buses, trains and tube.

    In addition to basic salary there is private health care, pension, 25 days holiday plus the Christmas period on top, Chartership fees paid, as well as external courses/CPD funded.

    There are very real prospects for promotion and progression at this practice.
