This position operates equipment for the aerospace market, uses a forklift and is trained on using other large machinery and specialty equipment. A great candidate is dependable, follows direction and is able to work with attention to detail and follow safety standards.

Physical aspects –This position requires repeated standing, stooping, bending, twisting, pulling, tugging and lifting up to 50lbs; able to work in hot and cold conditions. Possible overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities:

• To see that the material is processed in a timely manner, always focusing on requirements
• Maintain the integrity of the material throughout the process.
• Maintain the necessary paperwork.
• Cleanliness; each day before leaving, the work area must be cleaned.
• Working with specialized detail oriented machines
• Working on feet, moving around and physical tasks
• Repetitive work
• Operating a sit-down forklift

Ability to:

• Operate heavy machinery
• Operate a forklift, manlift
• Follow instructions and work to procedures.
• Communicate
• Ability to cross-train in multiple departments
• Work alone or part of a team
• Willing to work day or night shifts
• Mechanical ability would be a plus
• The ideal candidate would have 2 to 5 years working in a manufacturing environment.
