    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma Care Stepdown position in the PCU with night shift and telemetry responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in the Trauma Care Stepdown (PCU) unit of a hospital setting
    • Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
    • Patient population includes stepdown trauma patients requiring progressive care and telemetry monitoring
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
    • Submit valid US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
    • References, license verification, and certification documentation required
    • Holiday coverage may be required as per unit needs

    Requirements

    • Active NC or compact RN license required
    • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PCU or telemetry specialty
    • Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), all from AHA or ARC and valid for at least 30 days from start
    • Must provide one professional reference (unless applying in Florida or Missouri, where two are required)
    • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
