Position Summary
The Zhao lab is seeking a Research Assistant to prepare, process, and analyze data for preliminary machine learning and deep learning data.
The Zhao Laboratory is seeking outstanding candidates interested in developing and applying statistical model, machine/deep learning methodology in clinical study and medical research to improve women's health.
The goal of the lab is to develop AI powered methods in medical research of OB/GYN field to provide improved diagnosis and risk prediction.
The successful applicant will utilize statistical models and machine/deep learning methods to process and analyze biomedical imaging data, including, but not limited to, pathology assay images, ultrasound images, and wearable device data of actigraphy measures.
This is a temporary position of up to 6 months.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Works in laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological, chemical and radioactive hazards. Must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in laboratory operations or equivalent combination of education and experience equaling 6 years.
