Junior Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Systems Engineer to join our team to provide model-based systems engineering for a weapon system in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).
Candidate will work on a diverse team with other contractors and government personnel.Responsibilities
Use MagicDraw and Cameo to create and update system models, model data, system views, operational views, and other system views and diagrams
Use Excel to analyze and manipulate data
Attend and actively engage with others at weekly team meetings and other scheduled meetings
Communicate meeting and engineering summaries verbally and in writing, including the ability to provide technical briefs, defend engineering and design decisions, present at meetings, and provide tasking and schedule statuses
Requirements
United States Citizenship
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to learn quickly
Must be able to work on a diverse team with other contractors and government personnel
Preferred Skills & Experience
Engineering experience, especially with DoD programs or weapon systems
Experience with MagicDraw and/or Cameo
Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Word.
Education:
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required
Clearance:
A Secret Clearance is required for this position.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.Travel :
