    Description

    Monday-Friday 2nd shift 2pm-10pm + OT

    A local distribution warehouse is searching for an Office Assistant with a strong clerical background to join their growing team.

    Responsibilities:

  • Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, and other involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Maintains a clean, neat area
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
  • Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments
  • Shipping and receiving order processing
  • Maintaining filing systems
  • Checking and entering data
  • Updating and maintaining databases
  • Coordinating work flow
  • Checking and distributing documents
  • Patience and endurance to sit/stand behind a desk all day
