The Washington Conference is seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to serve as the Girls' Dean at Auburn Adventist Academy. The Girls' Dean will play a crucial role in providing leadership, guidance, and support to female students, fostering a safe and nurturing residential environment conducive to their overall development and well-being. This person will serve as a mentor and role model for our students, providing guidance on personal, social, and academic matters, and offering support in times of need.

Required Experience

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, or related field
• Previous experience working with adolescents in an educational or residential setting, preferably as a dormitory supervisor, resident director, or similar role.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
• Knowledge of adolescent development, counseling techniques, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity.
• Commitment to upholding Christian values and principles in all aspects of the role.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must have the legal right to work in the US and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed. Salary Range - Standard NPUC Salary Scale - $46,644 - $59,900.
