Description

Proforma is seeking a Staff Accountant to be responsible for preparing financial statements, ad-hoc reporting, maintaining financial procedures, and verifying and reconciling system-wide transactions.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Tasks:

Perform month end close procedures to assist in the preparation of the monthly profit and loss statements
Compile and analyze monthly financial information to prepare journal entries documenting business transactions
Prepare monthly account reconciliations and support departmental weekly and monthly internal reporting
Provide annual audit support schedules
Daily cash reporting and forecasting
Other tasks as assigned by management

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail with strong documentation skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook and Word
Proficient with Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.

Education and Experience:

College Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
At least two years related experience required.
NetSuite/Oracle Software experience preferred.
